Paint Colors

Have you ever gone to the paint store super excited to pick the best paint color for your project, only to be completely overwhelmed and leave the store with 13 paint chips and no idea what to do? It’s truly ridiculous the number of combinations that are out there - but the world of color is magical. Those deep colors that have undertones to provide richness and depth in the right light or the overtones that shock your eyes all play into what makes the color you choose the perfectly right or the perfectly wrong color in your eyes. Your process to pick does not need to be super scientific and overwhelming though. When you choose a paint color that you are going to look at in your house, only you have to love it. So, go to the paint aisle or store with a color in mind (blue/green/pink, etc.) and if you want it light or dark. Then, just go choose the one that catches your eye and get a gallon of it mixed up! Go home, paint, and love that you just made an executive decision. If it truly is dreadful in your eyes - it is just paint and it can be fixed the next day ;).
